Additions to the Adult Writers' List

Ember: A Journal of Luminous Things is a semiannual journal of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction for all age groups. Submissions for and by readers aged 10 to 18 are strongly encouraged. Guidelines are here. This is a paying market.

Velocity (for young teens) and Forward (for high schoolers) are quarterly magazines published by Randall House, which is associated with the Free Will Baptists. Although Randall House does not use freelance work for their children's magazines, they do for these teen magazines. If you want to submit an article, fill out the information on this site. The site is for Brink, their young adult publication, but information submitted there will go to the necessary editor. This is a paying market.

Additions to the Young Writers' List

Daphne Review is a semiannual, online literary and arts magazine that publishes the work of students, ages 13-18. Submission guidelines are here. This is a non-paying market.

Ember -- see information above.

This and That

Alfie Dog Fiction submissions are open from September 19th to October 16th.

East of the Web seems to be having problems with their website.

Discontinued

Amazing Kids still has a website, but it's apparently defunct otherwise.

CyberKids also still has a website, but does not appear to have anything new since 2012.
