Additions to the Adult Writers' List

Military Kids' Life is a quarterly print magazine for ages 6 to 14. Their tagline is "Find Your Adventure!" The publication includes articles, essays, interviews, poems, recipes, and photographs that appeal to military kids and their families. Submission guidelines are here. If you'd like a copy of their editorial calendar, you may contact them at janine@thechameleonkids.com. This is a paying market.

American Cheerleader is published four times a year and is available in both print and digital form. Topics they seek include: biographies, interviews/profiles of sports personalities, cheering how-to, health, beauty, careers, fashion, and sports. Submission information is here. This is a paying market.

Additions to the Young Writers' List

Sprout is a nonprofit, online literary journal for teens, by teens. Sprouts publishes creative pieces that "demonstrate awareness of the world and social commentary, sharing art in its purest form." You may submit if you are age 13-22. Guidelines are here. This is a non-paying market.

Military Kids' Life will consider submissions from military kids. See above for additional information.

One Teen Story has been on our Adult Writers' List, but they also use stories from teens four times a year, so I'm adding it to the Young Writers' List. Submission guidelines are here.

GREYstone appears to have discontinued publication. No activity since last September.
