Addition to the Adult Writers' List

BYOU “Be Your Own You” Magazine is a print publication for girls ages 7-15 designed to build self-esteem in fun and empowering ways. It features positive celebrity role models, stories about real girls making a difference, advice, games, crafts, and jokes. "Topics include friendships, bullying, inner beauty, empowerment, community service, and other timely subjects to help today’s girl glow from the inside out." The magazine is published by Debra Gano, a best selling author herself; she's also a self-esteem expert, a parent, and a former actress/model. For submission information check halfway down this page.

Every poet contributing will receive two free copies of the anthology. Deadline for the next issue is June 15, 2015. More information about this opportunity is here. Submission guidelines are here.
