Addition to the Adult Writers' List

CheerLiving is a free online magazine about cheerleading. It's published up to four times a year. Their contact page says, "We're always looking for all levels of cheerleaders, coaches, parents, choreographers, and other cheer professionals to share their stories and tips." Submissions can be done online or they give this as their address:

CHEERLIVING® Magazine
12375 World Trade Drive
San Diego, CA 92128

Additions to the Young Writers' List

The Louisville Review is a literary magazine published by Spalding University. They accept submissions of previously unpublished poetry and fiction from students in grades K-12 for The Children's Corner section of the magazine. There is not a separate URL for submission guidelines, so just click on the link given on the homepage. This is a non-paying market; they do provide contributor copies.

Calliope

As of September 2014, Calliope no longer exists as a separate magazine. It has been folded into Dig, which is now bigger and is called Dig Into History. Rosalie Baker is still the editor. [Thanks to Marcia Lusted for this update.]

Wily Writers

Wily Writers is being discontinued, but its collection of stories will remain available on the website. It's being replaced by Another Dimension. The site describes the new publication as having "a more focused theme, that of classic-style Horror and Dark Fantasy, as seen on the television shows 'Night Gallery' and 'The Twilight Zone,' produced and often written by Rod Serling." Issues will be released quarterly in both text and audio formats. I am not choosing to include Another Dimension in my ezine's list of markets, because the submission guidelines say, "Gore, sex, and adult language okay." I know YA writing sometimes include these, and I do have YA magazines on my list, but I want the links on my website to be kid friendly, so it won't be listed.

This and That

Suddenly Lost in Words has reopened submissions after a short hiatus.

Knowonder is currently closed to short story submissions.

Story Shack Magazine is currently closed to short story submissions.

Discontinued

Pack-O-Fun magazine has ceased publication.

Spellbound's site says, "Over the past several weeks it has become apparent that the mental health issues I have been dealing with for more than a year are keeping me from running Eggplant effectively. At this point I have decided to close the company down since I cannot give it, the authors and readers the attention and effort they deserve."

Bumples appears to be non-existent.
