Author's note: I wrote and illustrated these two books at a time when my vision was declining rapidly, because an antibiotic I'd taken was causing optic nerve damage. I did not know if I'd soon be unable to do any more authoring work. It was a difficult time, but thankfully, God chose to bless me with healing and restore my vision.

    Dedications:

Addition...“This book is dedicated to my dearly beloved grandchildren, and
to God, who wants to give all of us the vision to see the world as he sees it.”

Subtraction...“This book is dedicated to my wonderful husband Ralph,
who supports me in all my author endeavors, and
to a faithful God, who's with us no matter what challenges life brings.”
